I've been having non-stop problems with my built-in graphics card conflicting with my Voodoo 3 2000 PCI card. The only way I overcame the problem, seeing as nothing else worked, was to completely delete my built-in card from Control Panel, System, Device Manager. But since I have done this, everytime I start up Windows 98 I get asked if I would like to install the drivers for my old graphics card, which obviously I don't want to seeing as this will start the problems again. Does anyone know if there is a way to stop this dialogue box that keeps asking me to install the drivers from my Win 98 CD from coming up?

As long as the hardware is visible to the OS it will try to load drivers. You may be able to disable it in CMOS so that OS can no longer see it. Ed Fair

Go into the BIOS at bootup and look for an option to DISABLE ON-BOARD video. Alternatively, check the handbook, or look on the motherboard itself for a jumper to disble on-board video.
