I created a database and put it on the network for others to use. I then set up securities making myself the admin with a password and the others full data users. When I tried to open the database exclusively it asks for a log-in and password. I put it in and the message it gave me was that the login and password are not valid. The users are still able to open the database in shared mode but I'm not able to open it up exclusively to make changes or do backup. Of course, the users dont have access to make changes, only updates. I have the work ID # and password setup. How do I get back in get into the secured database (which was made when I used the security wizard). Then I tried to get into Access on my desktop to create a new database and when I 'save' it asks for a login and password. If you can help me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for viewing!
