How to get Drivers for Cannon printer IR 2018 for win 8

i cant find drivers for most printers i use .... how can i fix this issue

is there a software that can convert drivers ? or is there drivers that can work with both 8 and some other version ... as using the same drivers for 7 and vista ?

I would try the windows 7 drivers, just make sure that it is the 32 or 64 bit your system requires, if in fact it makes a difference.

Try CANON Support and see if the latest drivers available will work for you, if you are lucky the Windows 7 Drivers may do the job. If you are unlucky then it may be necessary to purchase another Printer that is Windows 8 compatible.

If you're desperate, an Image Runner will print satisfactorily using a generic windows PCL6 driver. Some options may not be accessible but you should be able set suitable common defaults from the Status and Configuration pages accessed by entering the printer's LAN address into a browser.
