How do I get a backup job to run on two tape drives? After one is full, I need the backup to seek out the next drive.

I'm new to Arcserve 2000

One backup job cannot run on two tape drives.
You have to submit at least two jobs to have both drives running at the same time.

Yes it can, put both drives in the same group, and either turn off eject or dont verify.I have several sites running 2 or 3 DAT drives.

Agreed, you can call it a cascading backup if you like. Whilst the data does not write to two tape drives at the same time, once the first tape is full the backup will revert to using the second tape.

Sorry, misread your thread.
Be sure your tape drives are 'same vendor-same type-same firmware' when putting them in the same group in order to cascade.
