In my domain there is only one NT Server 4.0 DC(PDC) with exchange 5.5,SQL 7.0 server. I already installed a new BDC and I want it to have most everything which is on PDC.

Currently this BDC already has synchrozed SAM. Windows NT Directory Replication can only make the Logon Scripts and system policy file's backup, but not for other thing. How can I "copy" or "backup" all other thing(exchange,SQL) to new BDC in order to BDC can fully take over in case PDC is down?

Clone is helpful?......

There are two answers for that, depending on how much down time you can afford:

1 - If you can have no downtime, you solution doesn't reside in backups - you need what's called "high-availability". That can be a cluster, or a solution like Double-Take from
2 - If you just need a backup, use Ghost to make an image of the PDC disk. If it ever goes "belly-up", you can restore from there. Oh, and of course, you should do a new image regularly... maybe every day.

Also remember to never have two copies of the same machine running at the same time (ie, cloning the PDC to the BDC and leaving them both on...). That won't work - and will probably just ruin your domain.
