Hi all,
Does anybody know how to repair my datastore, I think something went wrong deleting a server from my farm. I know, you have to uninstall the MF server with add-remove programs but the server was already dead, so no can do. I removed the server with the CMC and used the DSCHECK /clean, but that resulted in inconsistencies. Then I realized I had to use the old version from my CD because all our servers run with SP4. Ok this seems to work I got a "all consintency checks were successful" message, but when I use the new DSCHECK from sp4 I still get inconsistency errors

Data Store Validation Utility. Version: 1.0

Unable to bind to server contexts in data store. Server consistency
check will not run. (Result: 0x80000007)

Some consistency checks were unsuccessful. Results below indicate the number
of errors or -1 for test not run: Server Errors = -1,
Application Errors = 0, Group Errors = 0.

What can I do about this?
any body ideas?

Thanks
Wim

Ok I don't think you are in that much trouble.

You have a data store that thinks it should have some more servers in it than it actually has. I think there is an explanation as to how to fix that on Citrix Support

Scott,
You're right it's not a big deal, everything seems to work just fine on my farm but... I don't like errors on my systems. They can still cause problems or issues in the future, who knows, right? If there's a fix can you give me the exact url?

Thanks for your help.

Wim

Give me a few mins and I will get back.

OK I couldn't find one. However I found something else called dsverify, you could try that.

CTX765180 has some other removing servers info too.

Scott,
I'm using Citrix MF XP FR3 sp4, I think dsverify was used in previous versions, now you can use DSCHECK. But that's my question: "Why does dscheck from sp4 give an error while dscheck from the installation CD (MF XP FR3) doesn't give an error?" So far I haven't found a solution for it, guess I'll have to live with it.

Thanks for your help anyway.

Good question, and funnily enough I hyave a strange set of circumstances at one of my customers. I am going to be talking to the nice chaps at Citrix today, or tomorrow. I might just ask a supplementary[wink]
