Hi can anyone tell me an easy way to detect an xp client on your network apart from going in to server manager and looking for 5.1. It would be much appreciated.

Thanks

go to gfi.com and download their LAN Scanner. Set it to scan all IP addresses within a certain range, and then watch as it tells you what OS each amchine has, as well as currently logged in user Scotsdude[bravo]
