I started out trying to find which 'bundle' /usr/samples/kernel is in (which I still can't find), and this led to other questions.

How can you list files contained in software Bundles? How can you tell which Bundles are currently installed? Is there any way to have the installation actually install 'everything' the first time without having to go back and 'piecemeal' things?

Thanks in advance, Steve Van Osdell

lslpp -f [bundle]
lslpp -h [bundle]

For example:

lslpp -h bos.rte.commands

Helpful ?

To answer your first question, if you issue the command
lslpp -Jw /usr/samples/kernel

you should get output similar to the following:

File Fileset Type
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
/usr/samples/kernel bos.adt.samples Directory
