If I have a column showing employee b-days, how can I filter them to show only the ones in the 4th quarter, for example.

Hi, my guess is to use the advanced filter with the criteria being month>9.
i can't help any further as i'm not, myself, an expert on using the advanced filter feature. sorry.

Hi,
If you are using AutoFilter, select the Custom Autofilter and enter the quarter start/end dates and >=/<= operator qualifiers respectively.
Using Advanced Filter make 2 date columns for criteria and enter the respective start/end dates perceeded by their respective operator qualifiers
