How to export global address list in MS Outlook?

Gurus,

Could anyone over there tell me how to
export the Global Address List in MS Outlook?

I tried Tools\Synchronize\Download Address
Book, but I have no idea where the Address
Book is downloaded on my local computer.

It will be downloaded in to an *.ost file on your HDD.

How can I then convert this file to a plain text file?

I am quite confused by the MS Windows and Outlook's GUI.
