How to establish connection between 3500 gibic switch to media convert

i have used multimode fibre cable of distance 120meter, 62.5um
one end i have connected to CISCO 3500 gibic switch and other end connected to media converter of specification, d-link 10/100 multimode.

Whether i have used correct media converter or i have to go for another converter, kindly guide/suggest.

my requirement is to establish network at other end 10/100

The GBIC suggests it is a Gigabit interface, the converter is a 10/100.
You should get the proper converter, and check the specifications on the GBIC interface to ensure you are working within the range specified for MM fiber.
