How to encrypt the password in CDOSYS stored procedure? 1

Our SMTP server requires authentication, and therefore, our CDOSYS stored procedure has the password hardcoded into it.

Is there a way to encrypt the password field?

How about encrypting the entire stored procedure?

Or lastly, what about restricting permissions on simply viewing the stored procedure?

You can encrypt the SP using:

CREATE PROC myproc
WITH ENCRYPTION
AS
...

This will stop anyone being able to see the SP code.
