How to eliminate Backup Successful entries to NT Event Log?

We run transaction log backups every 15 minutes and I set up the job to not write to the NT application event log on the Notifications tab under the Job properties. For some reason it is writing to the application event log for that server whenever a transaction log backup occurs. We do not want this to happen. Is there anyone out there who knows why it is still writing to the Event log even though I have not checked any notifications on the Notifications tab under Job properties?

I'm afraid you can't or not that I'm aware of anyway. By default certain SQL event will always right to the NT event log regardless of what setting you have in your notifications.

Backups are one of those events.
