Good Morning, I have a main table with a couple of linked sub-tables. I created a archive dbase with the exact same tables and then I A link to the archive tables on the active dbase. I created a couple of append queries and a delete query, then I created a macro to run them. All of the data went in the archive dbase correctly and the correct records were removed from the active dbase. What is the best way to view and print the archive recores? Do I copy the forms, reports and modules into the archive dbase and run the archive records there? I have never had to build an archive yet is this is a new experience for me. Thank you in advance to anyone rendering some advice on this subject, because keyword search did not turn up very much on this one.

It's probably easiest to import the required Queries, Forms and Reports to the archive DB. So laon as the field names are the same then this should work OK

Thank you for the response, Neil. That is slowly becoming my conclusion, though I was hoping for something better, in the same dbase. Thanks.
