How to disable the progress bar of Outlook Express?

Hello,

I'm using vfp6.0 and Outlook express. I used the MAPI controls on my form and programmatically download email messages using Outlook express as my automation. My question is how can I be able to hide or disable the progress bar being displayed by the Outlook express everytime I tried to signon while the downloadMail property of the control is set to true. My program actually tried to signon and signoff every 2 seconds yet the progress bar of Outlook express always appear.

Although you can use the MAPI controls to run OE, OE itself doesn't support automation, as far as I know. That being the case, I don't think you can tell it to hide any dialogs.

Hi,
I have experienced the same problem. It is a security function in Outlook. I gave up and am now using the tool "ClickYes" which does the job for you (without delay).
