How to deploy logon scripts?

What Im looking for is the scripts to run .exe files or maybe even windows updates at the logon procedure. Im using Win2k server and if you guys can send a link or something that will be helpful. Im a begineer at scripts and never even wrote a script file before. But I want to learn even if you can post a demo script I can try to catch on. Thanks..

For a beginner, I would suggest using KIXTART. You can download Kixtart at

This is a free scripting language specifically for logon scripts. It is compatible with all MS products. You can write scripts to do a variety of things...It is widely used in the industry. Joseph L. Poandl
