how to delete the WOSA support?

when i first opened the MFC appwizard, i ticked the "Windows Sockets" checkbox in step 2. how can i make it unticked now? rather than building a new project? if i untick it, will it effect the connection to a database?
any help would be appreciated!

connection to databases aer performed through ADO/DAO/ODBC and inside your project is has nothing to do with sockets.

you are saying without tick the Windows Socket checkbox, my project can still connect to a database?
