How to delete subtotaled lines equal to zero?

I have a large Excel spreadsheet that is subtotalled by a common field. I would like to delete the details and subtotal row when they are equal to zero. The remaining detail lines will then be the items that need to be looked into further. I am hoping that there is an easy and quick way to do this. Right now we scroll down the rows to the zero sutotals expand the level select the row and subtotal line and then delete it. There has to be a faster way to do this as it could take a very long time to complete this task.

Tools > Options > View tab > under Window options, uncheck "Zero values"

That works fine but it is not what I needed to happen. I want to actually delete the detail rows and subtotal row leaving only the ones with a value not equal to zero.

Why don't you filter the field as "does not equal" 0 before doing the sub-totalling?
