How to delete a TCP/IP printer port?

Every time I want to delete a printer port from the Server Properties box, I get the following message:
"Selected port cannot be deleted. Operation could not be completed".

Does anyone know why this is the case?

That usually means there is a printer currently connected to that port. It should be listed in the "Printer" column. Go to that printer's properties and temporarily move it to a different port
