HOW TO DELETE A PIX WHEN COMPUTER STARTS

WEN I TURN ON MY COMPUTER A PICTURE SHOWS UP FOR ABOUT 2 SECONDS AND ALSO WHEN I SHUT IT DOWN HOW CAN I GET RID OF THE PICTURE? FIRST I ACCIDENTALLY SAVED AS A WALLPAPER THEN I ELIMINATED IT NOW IT MADE ITS WAY INTO THE START UP AND HUT DOWN

If you have no need for the picture you could start by deleting it.

start find/search filename and search from the root directory ie c:
when the file is found delete it.

This usually is a quick fix.

First goto your display properties. Highlight a different background. DO NOT CLICK APLLY OR OK. Then reselect the background you want and click apply.

If that doesn't work do the following.
Right-Click on your background goto Active Desktop and uncheck View as Web Page. When you do this you should see that annoying background come back. Then goto your display properties and change it. You can put the View as Web Page option back if you wish. Personally I leave it off.
