I'm new to Access, so please be patient. Thanks.

My question is whether or not command buttons are customize-able in Access (2003). Instead of a square/rectangle, can I make it a circle instead and also change the colors? If this is possible, how is it done? Thanks.

Hi!

In general command buttons are not customizable that way. You can use a label or a rectangle object to use different colors since both are clickable. In your toolbox there is a place to click for more controls and there may be something in there that will give you different shapes.

Thanks for the suggestion! I just tried it and now have another question:

The command button is going to be used on the switchboard, and is listed among 5 other buttons. This particular button will lead to a second set of option buttons. On this second page, I don't want the first set of buttons available anymore. Using the colored rectangles, how could I make the first set "go away"?

Hi!

Well, to make a button disappear you set the Visible property to False:

Me!YourCommandButtonName.Visible = False

In VBA.

There are other things you can do like simply open a different form and close the original.
