How to created password when importing accounts?

I have the task of importing a list of users, about 500, into active directory to create accounts. Problem is after the accounts are created, they are disabled. I don't want to have to uncheck the box in every account. Also, is there a way to set an initial password? And by default the "user must change password at next logon" is checked, I would like to disable that. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I have used the AddUsers.exe utility to do exactly what you are trying to do, and it works great. You can import from a CSV file, and with the multiple switches that are available, you can totally customize the user settings (change pw, etc.). There is an article (Q199878)on MS's Technet page that explains how to use, and all the options. I hope this is the type of thing you're looking for.
