hi,

I am beginner.I am trying to eliminate the special characters.I got the resource from this link

i have to no idea how to create and run it..could u guide me...how to do it.

i tried to get resources from net..i couldnt find one...
u have idea about link..it will be helpful.

Ummm, it basically tells you exactly what to do...

1. Create a new module

2. If Option Explict isn't already there, type it in.

3. Copy and paste the code example in the module and save

in a query:

SELECT StringSting(Field1) from tablename


this function is only going to remove the following characters:

".", "#", ",", "-"

if you need to check for others, you will need to add them in the case statement:

".", "#", ",", "-", "%", "&"
