Hello all:

I am currently using Apache studio in order to access the Master LDAP server for the company.

Some of the users are requesting to add multiple members (5k+) to existing groups.

Please share with me the best method in order to generate a batch file and also apply the update over the group.

Best regards,

Forum80 would probably be a better place for your question. But a Google search (bulk add ldap users) threw up

And "batch" is Windows stuff, it's "bash" on this side of the divide :)

Chris.

Hello Chris:

Thanks a lot and sorry about my delayed response.

For this case, I am looking for a script or tool, in order to add bulk members to existing groups in my company.

I do have full access to the organization tree, also I am able to request the list of users .txt or .csv. with any information needed (employee ID, CN, DN, email, sAMA account name, etc).

Also I use Putty in order to read/write to the ldap server, Apache and Softerra as well.
