Good morning all,

I need to copy some MS Office template files to a large number of clients on my network. I thought I remembered that this was possible using the Epolicy Mirror task but can't see how. I'm using Epolicy 3.6.0. Has this option been deleted or am I mixing Epo up with something else ? Any contributions would be most appreciated.

As far as I can tell, the mirror task only copies the content of a repository to the local machine. I don't think it can copy other files then the ones intended by McAfee. It looks at the contents of the catalog.z which contains the location and checksums of all the files it needs to copy. Unless you can modify the contents of catalog.z I don't think this can be done. (catalog.z is digitally signed by McAfee, so if you would try to change it, the client wouldn't want to reed it anyway...)

couldn't create a package that will unzip to a secific location and push them out using Group Policy?I'm with gdvissch, I don't tihnk it can rolled out with ePO

Cheers

Paul
