IS-IT--Management
Hi,
OS: W2K Pro SP3.
I have a Canon digital camera. I plugged it in to the USB port of my computer and installed the drivers of a CD when prompted by Windows.
But the software used to interface the data in the camera can not detect the camera, even thought Device managers says the camera is working with no problems.
I tried to re-install the drivers for the camera, but Windows always points to the driver originally installed, so I deleted those (from the c:\Winnt\inf folder), but there seems to be some legacy files left over because each time I re-install the drivers for the camera, I get the same result.....
I have installed this camera in 5 other identical computers, but only this one has a problem. Can anyone direct me on how to completely delete a device from the system, so that I can do a fresh install of the camera? Registry changes perhaps?
Thanks for any info,
Danny
