How to change the screen resolution

Hi there, now i have develope the application base on the screen 800 x 600, but i found that i the screen resolution change to 1024 x 768, then my layout will look no so good. So, is there any way to automatic change the screen the screen resolution to 800 x 600 if we found the screen is different, then after we close the application, it will change back to original screen.
