How to change the "Gray" color behind the database window?

That's part of the Windows settings, nothing to do with Access. You can change the colors of Access forms by going into the properties.

Using access 2003 its in the tools/options/datasheet tab menu to change the datasheet form background and the pages tabe to change the default report background. As for the forms then in normal view you have to change the individual forms 'format/back color' property of each form. You can even put a tile as a background with the forms 'format/picture' property, this needs changing while in design view.

Programmers do it one finger at a time!

Hi
Or you can create a form template, with all the colours etc you want. Then use this as the standard on which all new forms are based (Form Template). Then there is Autoformat; you can create a style and apply it to forms. Also, form properties can be set by code.

Its quite late here ... [dazed]

Go to Stephen Lebans Webite @ and go to "What's Inside?" Take a look at "Change MDI Background".

See if this helps. I use this code to change the Access background. So when my application opens up I get a blue background color instead of that dull grey.

Thank you ssatech!!!
