I have a NT 4.0 server with about 40 printers on it. Two of them were setup to use HP Jet direct ports which is fine until you need to see what IP these printers have. If you click properties/ports the port name is listed as something like NPI5746FE. How can I change this name to the actual IP like all the rest are setup? Thanks for the help.

right click on the printer in question, then hit properties... click "PORTS".... click "ADD PORT".... select "Jet Direct"... then put the desired "PRINTER NAME" and "PORT NAME"...
