I am having trouble readjusting my proccessor clock/speed after it got thrown off. I am using Win XP pro. Any bit of help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Are you talking about the cpu speed? That's usually controlled by jumpers/switches on the motherboard and/or settings in the bios - not in XP.

yes, the CPU speed. I have a 2.4 Ghz proccessor ands it displaying as a 1.8 ghz proccessor.

If you haven't been adjusting "things" it might be something like this.

316965 - The Processor Speed May Be Reported Incorrectly in Windows XP

Plenty more articles like this if while online you type "processor speed" in the Help and Support search box.
