Does anyone know how to calculate the total space of the hard by using, the Sectors, Cylds, and Head. I can't totally remember, I know it starts like this:

Sec X Cylds X Heads X ?

Thanks,

Anthony

Assuming you are looking at the physical specs and not the Logical Addressing then I think it should be each one multiplied by each other multiplied by 512(Clyinders*Heads*Sectors*512). 512 because it's the standard number of bytes per sector. I'm not entirely sure about all that though. Justin

Feel free to email me at:

You are correct.

Clyinders*Heads*Sectors*512 = hard drive space (bytes)

Great!!! This is the information that I was looking for!! Thanks ALOT!!!
