A question.

How do you build a submitform for searchengines.
To be more clear:
How to build a submit form to let the searchengines know that the site excists?
I hardly know anything about ColdFusion. But I do know that it is a wonderful tool to build applicatiuons and other things. So, I am a ColdFusion dummy.

Easy on yourself, every developer used to be a CF dummy... Why build one yourself, if the guru and mega techie nerd Ben Forta ( has created a tag for that?
On the Allaire site ( there is a custom tag called spidersubmit, which submits a URL to several search engines. Download it and try it out. :)

Indeed, Ben is the mega nerd, but he's cool! ;-) "Mouse position has changed. Windows will have to be restarted for the changes to take effect."
