ThinkPad A22m 2628-T1U. IBM says replace system board when can't get past POST splash screen.

I did.

Now turn on machine and get no video, no nada. Except capslock, numlock, power LED's.... a *slight* flicker on LCD when it seems to be get power....

Tried to boot with BIOS flash diskette. Doesn't seem to be reading floppy drive.

Something basic I'm missing?

First-timer on the old system board replacement.....

TIA

If your not getting to the post you probably have something loose when you put it back together.

Now how did I know you were going to say that? ;-)

OK, back to the operating table.....
