How to assign Processor Channels 3

I receive this error while attempting to add a processor channel. What must I busy out beforehand in order to process the change?

Must disable communication link associated with this channel first
 
You must first disable the associated comm link eg. ch comm li and then set enable to n for no.
 
Giving it a try. Still reads "must busyout SCI link first". I'm guessing my login has limitations. Thanks!
 
You have to busyout the link you want to change. Eg "busyout link x" where x is the link number.
 
I envy those of you with more powerful logins. I can't even get "busyout link" to execute. It is not an option with my login. I'll have to send this to the great ones...

You need Processor & System maintenance permissions to busy the link out. If you have an Avaya maintenance agreement you can get them activated for a one-time charge of $60.00.
