How to allow a user to connect to cisco vpn

Hi guys,

we have a cisco 800 series router and I want to know how can I give permission for someone to connect to our CISCO VPN.

I think I have to create a user account on the router for that person.

All I know is I can connect to the cisco router via putty. I have no ideas about commands.
