Hi everybody,

I want to add the DAO 3.6 Library programmatically using
the fonction AddFromGuid("Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library",Minor,Major) but it doesn't work

is it right ??

And what is exactly the minor and major parameters.

Thank you in advance

depends on which version of Access

in Access '97
Open something that brings you to the VBA code window
click "Tools" men then "References" and look for
you will find it a way's down the list "Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object library"
Put a check in the box to use it. Then it will show it at the top of the list next time.

In Access 2000
Open something that lets you open the "Microsoft VBA program" this is where you can type in VBA code.
then click "tools" menu and "References"

you will find it a way's down the list "Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object library"
Put a check in the box to use it. Then it will show it at the top of the list next time.
