How to add ALT text to Flash buttons?

I created Flash buttons in Dreamweaver and can't figure out how to add alt text--I've put the alt tag with text in the object tag--but nothing shows--am I missing something?

I inserted it in MX--interactive image--

You can't use alt tags on a flash button in DW you have to
build a "alt tag" looking popup in Flash on mouseover

Right--I finally found a definitive answer of Macromedia's site--but screen readers read the name tag I think--Can I just insert code to make the pop-over you mention--that's all I want to do--I don't want dreamweaver to do it for me--
