HOW to add a crosshair in the middle of the screen?

i have this one shot where its suppost to be the camera looking through a sniper scope, and i need to put in a crosshair, but i dont know how. any help would be appriciated
 
Do you have an image-editing program such as Photoshop?

Yes i do, but how do i make it invis except for the crosshair?
 
Well, you make your crosshair image in Photoshop, using whatever dimensions your video is (for example, 720 x 480). Then you make an alpha channel mask.

I show how to do this for one of my projects. The part about making an alpha channel starts at step 9.

When you import the PCT into Premiere, select Video >> Transparency and choose alpha channel. It should look hunky dory.
