If you are referring to 'hotline', where you just pick up the phone and it dials a pre-defined number, you have to give the calling station an abbreviated dial list with the number that you want it to dial as one of the entries. The station type must be 2500. On page 3 of the station form you assign the abbreviated dial entry in the hotline section.
I thought I remembered that analog stations in later pbx versions can be bridged on a digital phone, but don't have to have their own extension? If so, if they had a hotline destination then would the digital phone dial to the hotline destination when picked up?
