The company I work for, has lots of divisions and subdivisions and it has made my job of making of Login scripts very complex. Our network consists is windows 2000 Active directory domain. Right now I am making batch file for individual subdivisions and linking them to each user in the "Active directory users and computers" In Novell, we could easily make complex login scripts and use its groups for this purpose.

I am sure someone must have come up with a better way. Would greatly appreciate it if you could help me out.

Thanks

Check out ScriptLogic.
It will do more, better and faster, than most people could ever do manually. Well worth the $$. Acutally it's not that much money, saves a lot of time.

If you just want to use login scripts based on the users group(s) you can use the IFMEMBER tool from the resource kit. Having said that, if you have some money to spare, Script Logic looks quite good!
