how set registry-settings for specific users ?

hi all,
i experience a tremendous problem when i try to give a certain-user group rights to a specific registry key via logon-script - it just is not working !
i try to use the tool called "regini.exe" from the ressource kit but that is not really what i am looking for as i have only the possibility of using pre-defined settings

can anyone please give me a hint to another tool ?
