I am able to Ghost a Windows 2000 NTFS partition and browse all files with no user name or password via Ghost explorer.

Was handy at the time when I urgently needed to get data off a corrupt laptop with NTFS!

You could have simply unplugged the harddrive and plugged it into a working machine as the second drive, except laptop connectors are different to desktop ones so you would need an adaptor or a laptop which can take two drives.

Unless you are encryting your harddrives you have to think about physically protecting a machine. Even then the encrytion can be broken. It is also very simple to crack a Windows password if one can get physical access to a machine.
