Hi,
Can you please share your opinion on DHTML.

Can I use it with all my normal VB controls, i.e Listview, datagrid, mschart....etc.

One of my IT colleagues (Network Eng) at our Head Office wants me to move from VB stand alone to Web Interface for our distributed Client Software that will log onto our DB. I would not like to do this.

Anyhow, would DHTML be powerfull enough to do everything that straight VB can do? What about references, libraries etc.

Thanks in advance

I think the key to this is to keep ALL the processing, objects, references etc on your internet server. All the web side of things ought to do is pass information around the place.

That said, I'm not an expert - but I've been dabbling with this sort of thing. I've not used DHTML though - I prefer writing HMTL myself by hand - Microsoft have a shocking record for producing non-validating code...

mmilan.
