I know their is a option to show a little box if an item is deleted. however is there a way not to show the item if it is deleted?

Thanks

By the way thanks to everyone who helped with previous grid questions. I have reverted to having a new form especially for the grid. it now works fine. In my other form it wouldn't, no idea why!!!

afternoon

you could set a filter on the table:
set filter to !deleted()

or use a another rowsource for the grid which doesn't contain deleted items, sql select for !deleted into a cursor

Try putting SET DELETED ON in the load of your form. Mike Gagnon

Thanks, can't believe I didn't spot that one. I'm using a new form with its own datasession. Thanks

Another question. I have a grid and one field it shows can either be A,B,C,D or E. Can I use a spinner to show this field. Or can you only use spineers for numbers? If I can how?

Thanks!!!

Spinners are used for numeric values, but you could use a combobox and set the incrementalsearch to .T..
