Hi there,

Anyone know the max number of VDNs that can be monitored by Genesys or another CTI product across the ASAI link, or multiple ASAI links?

We have Genesys 7 sitting on our LAB G3si Rel9.5, setup in a High Availability mode - 2 TServers in Hot Standby.

By running a VDN report and counting the number of successful 'Event Notif Adj' connections, I have discovered our limit to be 300.

The error message you see in the TServer logs for the failed registrations is:
Cause: code_std_loc = 97(ASAI_PubNetLocUsr) cause = 40(C_RESUNAVL)

If there is a limit, what's the limit on a G3R system? That's our Production Switch which is up to around 900.

Thanks.

On a PBX capacities PDF document that I have it indicates the following:

R9.5 & R10
CSI &SI
Active Adjuct route Requests System Wide - 300
Active Adjunct Route Req. per Link (Sitch to Adjunct Associations) - 300

R9.5 & R10: R
Active Adjuct route Requests System Wide - 2000
Active Adjunct Route Req. per Link (Sitch to Adjunct Associations) - 2000

Notification Associations (Requests or Monitors)
R9.5 & R10
CSI &SI - 300

R9.5 & R10: R - 10,000

Hope this helps,

Much appreciated. Confirms our findings.

Was a bit of a puzzle at first trying to work out why certain VDNs were 'registering' and others weren't.

Good to know on our Prod box, we'll be ok.

Thanks again.
