How many users are connected....

Hello guys,

Is there any way that I can find, how many users are
connected to a access database named e.g. RMS.mdb?
I want to do that from my VB6 program.

Not sure how you would incorporate it into Visual Basic, but MS has a nifty utility called LDBView that will tell you who is logged on based on the information in the .ldb file.

Is this possible in Access 97? I tried that not too long ago, but wasn't able to get it to work properly.

That is what I use it with; I have both 97 and 2K front ends but all of the backends are 97.

The version I am using is 1.0.0.1 if that helps.
