Hello - I did a keyword search on this but it didn't really answer in relation to my situation. Simple but - is there a limit on records in a single table? Not a fancy database, not on intranet or anything expansive like that. Just a simple table. (If there is such a thing!) The one I have is about to become rather large with the request that has been given to me. Never had one over 500 records so I wanted to check before I started anything.

Thanks is advance

Taylor

Taylor,
No limit, just the total size limit of the .mdb--1 Gig (in Access 97), so it all depends on the size of each record as to how many total you can get in a single table.

Thanks a bunch. No problem with the size, it will never get that large. Great to know. I appreciate it. Well - here I go -

Thanks

Taylor,
One thing to remember, "Compress Your Database Regularly".
Even though your tables may be small, you will still accumulate temp tables within Access just through normal activity. These temp files can grow to be a sizable bit of data.
