E-biz has become much more than just E-commerce. I own a web application firm, and we call e-commerce "first-generation web." Because E-biz is now requiring much more than just E-commerce (clients now want web-based HR, accounting, marketing, supply chain management, ERP, etc.), we are calling web applications "next-generation web." The demands of E-biz have caused the web application market to explode. Specifically, now most clients are looking for web software solutions rather than the typical client-server model made popular over the last decade. To see what I mean, check out my company's website: ClaspOne.com. Software has already changed, but E-biz will keep those changes coming. What do you think?
