ok, I'm making my first drop-down menu. 3 buttons total, with 2 of them having sub-options that fall underneath them when you roll the mouse over them.
I made the first one...works great; when the mouse goes over it the button will 'goto' frame 2 and play the submenu.
However, how do I make another button (on the same stage) with the same function? If I state "goto and play frame 2," the first button's submenu will open as well. :puzzled:
It would seem that I need to seperate them somehow. And if so, how?
Any help would be appreciated!

You will need to make them separate movie clips and then bring them all together on the main stage. You can then attach actionscript to each movie separately and control the them independently.
