How do you save a file on mouse event?!!!

I am making a stand alone application that will be on a cd. I want the user to click on a btn to save a picture file(JPEG, GIF etc...), which will be on the CD I know this must be quite simple but I am having serious problems.

Please help me!! I haven't got much time left!!
